Artificial photosynthesis is a technology with immense potential that aims to emulate the natural photosynthetic process. The process of involves conversion solar energy into chemical energy, which stored in organic compounds. Catalysis an essential aspect artificial photosynthesis, as it facilitates reactions convert energy. In this review, we aim provide extensive overview recent developments field by catalysis. We will discuss various catalyst types used including homogeneous catalysts, heterogeneous and biocatalysts. Additionally, explore different strategies employed enhance efficiency selectivity catalytic reactions, such utilization nanomaterials, photoelectrochemical cells, molecular engineering. Lastly, examine challenges opportunities well its applications areas renewable carbon capture utilization, sustainable agriculture.
